The dry grass has weathered
\nunder the rain’s autumn knell,
\nmildew hangs under the rotting wood.<\/p>\n
Over the blown grass, i envision
\nthe slick abode of man – attached
\nto his flesh, married to the skin<\/p>\n
like a snail. Clods of earth, far
\ncries from the primeval dust
\nroot him to the scorched ground –<\/p>\n
he can neither see nor move,
\nhe is in fact a prisoner.
\nsubject to five blind wits <\/p>\n
of renowned myth. Above him
\nthe glass he does not see,
\nbehind – the curtain of <\/p>\n
oblivion, straddling the dark
\nlike a moon of blood. His body
\nis an oblation, i watch him<\/p>\n
imitate the ethereal stars.
