you to test web pages for Section 508 and the WCAG (note - you are restricted

CSS Validator A free service that checks Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
in (X)HTML documents or standalone for conformance to W3C recommendations.

Real Validator Web Design Group application for HTML/ XHTML validation.
- A-Prompt
(Web site validator) The A-Prompt software tool examines Web pages
for barriers to accessibility, performs automatic repairs when possible,
and assists the author in manual repairs when necessary.

Web Publishing Wizard For Microsoft Office An add-on for the Office
suite that converts Powerpoint, Word etc. to accessible HTML (note this
appears to be commercial now and the resulting files may also require additional
work to get to WCAG etc.)

accessibility support site, providing software to generate accessible Web
content.
- aDesigner The
aDesigner is a disability simulator that helps Web designers ensure that
their pages are accessible and usable by the visually impaired.
- Betsie
(Text only / Accessible display script) Betsie is a perl script (a
program) that runs behind your web pages and provides on-the-fly conversion
of your site to a text-only format, it does have some limitations, such
as limited support for authentication (e.g. password entry).
- Bobby
- a Watchfire product (Web site validator) An application version of
the online Bobby validator, unlike the free online service, the application
is a commercial product. An earlier freeware version of Bobby (install_bobby3_2.exe)
is still available from some locations on the Internet.

Access Bridge For Windows Operating System Java Access Bridge for the
Microsoft Windows Operating System makes it possible for a Windows based
Assistive Technology to get at and interact with the Java Accessibility
API.

for Dreamweaver / Frontpage (Web site accessibility support tool) Desktop
solution for developing usable and accessible "508/W3C compliant" websites
within Dreamweaver or Frontpage.
- Patsie (Commercial
text only display adaptation of Betsie). Essentially, Patsie is a way of
producing an 'on-the-fly', text only version of any Web site which will
improve the accessibility of your site to users.
